2012 Foals Arriving!!

Breeders of AQHA Congress Champions, AQHA World Champions and Palomino World Champions.

Badger Land & Farm offers Palomino Horses, Quarter Horses, Paint Horses and Trail Horses for sale. APHA Stallions, AQHA Stallions, PHBA Stallions, and Trail Horse Stallions are sires to our foals each year... Stallions range from Halter Horse Stallions to Performance Horse Stallions and Trail Horse Stallions.

I was born on a cattle ranch in CA we had 20 horses at that time, grew up on horses chasing cows.... started to show when I was a 4 H leader in the late 60's and seventies..rode Pleasure, Trail, Barrel Raced on Paints, loved the color.  Owen grew up loving horses and riding after cattle in his younger years..Both of us are horse lovers......when Owen and I got together in the 90's, we showed O HI HONEY, APHA Palomino, SKIPTHELADIESSPOTS, APHA Palomino and MS YELLOW, APHA Palomino, to win California and Nevada Championships.  We showed Palomino before Palominos were cool.  We raised and showed APHA, SUITABLY IMPRESSIVE (our Paint stud) to several State Championships in California and Nevada.  We never ventured on to the World Show scene but we loved the COLOR...Palomino Paints produced Palomino solid breds....which led........

......To the quest for the best Quarter Horse registered, HALTER  Palominos we could breed and raise.  We turned to Kids Classic Style and Mr Yella Fella with our great Quarter horse mares...a daughter of OBVIOUS CONCLUSION produced OBVIOUSLY YELLA, 2007.  He was our first Quarter Horse Congress entry ever.......he won the 2007 geldings...also the 2007 AQHA World in 2007.  He was Reserve 2007 Colt at the Go For The Gold that year and won Palomino Colts our first year there....our colt from IMA PRETTY MADAM and KIDS CLASSIC STYLE, won the Palomino World in 2008, Yearling Stallions and Amateur Stallions with Owen, ONE MORE CLU.   We were at the Palomino World in 2008 with ONE MORE CLU and OBVIOUSLY YELLA bred by Badger Land and Farm and CLASSIC SHOWTIME bought and raised by Badger Land and Farm Company were all there and all won, it was a pretty good year.  

During my breeding and showing the "Yella" horses I fell in love with and purchased a bay AQHA mare, MISS MIRACULOUS, we showed her to several Grand Championships and then sold her where she went on to become a 4 time World Champion. I have bought and sold several more yellow babies in the last few years and one of them we are hoping to take to the 2011 Palomino World, DKJ MISS EXCLUSIVEGQ in 2 year old mares with Jerry Wright Quarter Horses, Arkansas.  Also down there with him is our daughter of ONE MORE CLU, we are hoping she, SHEZA PLAYGIRL CLU, goes to the AQHA World in 2011.

We are very excited about our new acquisition from Eagle Ridge farms, a Cremello colt to cross on our great AQHA mares.  SILHOUETTE IN ARMANI by CLASSIC STYLE GOLD, 8 time World and Reserve Champion and out of the great producing mare GOLDEN SILHOUETTE, with AQHA halter points and Palomino points.  Hopefully he will go out in 2012 with Jerry Wright Quarter Horses to be shown.  We are driven for the biggest and prettiest, Palomino, babies we can produce.

We presently have several great broodmare daughters of Mr. Elusive, Telusive, Kid Clu, Playgirls Conclusion, Mr Ice Te, One More Clu ... some are in foal for 2012, hoping for our next World show prospect. We have had so much fun and have met so many wonderful people along the way and look forward to meeting new friends.
